Settings your email app may ask for

You only need this page if your email app asks you to enter extra connection details.

Step by step

What to enter in the boxes

1

Find the details we gave you

You need your business email address, email password and mail server name, fusion.mxrouting.net. If you do not have them, call (224) 935-5772 before continuing.

Server name
fusion.mxrouting.net
2

Copy the mail server name exactly

The server is the computer that stores your email. Enter fusion.mxrouting.net for both incoming and outgoing mail. Do not use your website address instead.

Helpful notes

Keep in mind

IMAP is for mail

IMAP synchronizes mailbox folders. Calendar and contacts are separate services.

Which hostname should I use?

Copy the hostname supplied for this account. Do not guess mail.yourdomain.com or use an MX relay hostname; a public DNS record is not always the client-login endpoint.

Already have an account in another app?

Add the new mailbox separately. Do not remove existing accounts or local mail archives as part of basic setup.
